This year Google Trends show some surprising results. Eye winking famed Malayalam actress Priya Varrier is the most searched personality on internet in India according to Google Trends 2018.

American singer Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra’s hubby is the 2nd most googled personality in India.

Isn’t it surprising? This newly-wed couple was in lime light recently as their wedding was much talked-about event in India and its not Priyanka but Nick who is 2nd most googled person in India.Priyanka is at fourth spot.

Desi-style Haryanvi dance sensation Sapna Chaudhri is the 3rd most searched personality in India.

Anand Ahuja,who recently married actress Sonam Kapoor, is at number five. Anand is the CEO of Bhane, a clothing brand.

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja were married in May.

Robot says to astronaut to be nice and don’t be so mean on International Space Station

Robot-astronaut Interaction in space turned to be a bizarre humour.

“Be nice, please,” and “don’t be so mean,” Robot named SIMON says to ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst after being a bit irritated in the first man-machine interaction of CIMON (Crew Interactive Mobile Companion) with IBM Watson artificial intelligence.

The robot CIMON is meant to assist the crew members on International Space Station with tasks to provide some entertainment and fun-filled activities to help improve mood.

सदी का सबसे लंबा चंद्रग्रहण आज

सदी का सबसे लंबा चंद्रग्रहण आज 27 जुलाई को होने वाला है जो एक अद्भुत  खगोलीय घटना है . अब तक सबसे लंबा पूर्ण चंद्रग्रहण 1700 साल पहले पड़ा था।

भारत में यह लगभग रात्रि 11 बजकर 55 मिनट से स्पर्श कर लगभग 3 बजकर 54 मिनट पर पूर्ण होगा. कुलअवधि 6 घंटा 14 मिनट रहेगी.

पूर्ण चंद्र ग्रहण एक घंटे 43 मिनट का होगा.

चंद्रमा जब पृथ्वी की छाया से निकल रहा होता है तो यह हल्के लाल रंग का दिखता है जिसे वैज्ञानिकों की भाषा में ब्लड मून या  रेड मून कहते हैं। इस बार चंद्रमा लाल ब्लड मून की तरह नजर आएगा।( Red moon, another name for a full moon).

गुरु पूर्णिमा के दिन चंद्रग्रहण का संयोग 18 साल के बाद बन रहा है।

मकर राशि पर पड़ने वाले इस ग्रहण का सभी राशियों पर असर दिखेगा। जिसकी वजह से हमारे जीवन में कुछ अच्छे और कुछ बुरे असर पड़ेंगे। लेकिन शास्त्रों में कुछ उपाय बताए गए हैं, जिन्हें राशि के अनुसार करके ग्रहण के ग्रहदोष से बचा सकता है।

क्या होता है चंद्रग्रहण?

जब सूर्य और चंद्रमा के बीच पृथ्वी आ जाती है तो सूर्य की पूरी रोशनी चंद्रमा पर नहीं पड़ती है. इसे चंद्रग्रहण कहते हैं.

चंद्रग्रहण के दौरान क्या करें और क्या ना करें-

– चंद्रग्रहण के समय लोगों को कोई भी शुभ काम नहीं करने चाहिए।

ग्रहण के समय देवपूजा को भी निषिद्ध बताया गया है. इसी कारण अनेक मंदिरों के कपाट ग्रहण के समय बंद कर दिए जाते हैं. ग्रहण के 12 घंटे से पूर्व ही सूतक लगने के कारण मंदिरों के पट भी बंद कर दिये जाते है. ऐसे में पूजा, उपासना या देव दर्शन करना वर्जित है.

सूतक के समय भोजन आदि ग्रहण नहीं करना चाहिए और जल का भी सेवन नहीं करना चाहिए.

A halo (from Greek ἅλως, halōs;[1] also known as a nimbus, icebow or gloriole) is an optical phenomenonproduced by light interacting with ice crystals suspended in the atmosphere, resulting in a wide variety of colored or white rings, arcs and spots in the sky. Many halos are near the Sun or Moon, but others occur elsewhere or even in the opposite part of the sky. Among the most well known halo types are the circular halo (properly called the 22° halo), light pillars and sun dogs, but there are many more; some of them fairly common, others (extremely) rare.

The ice crystals responsible for halos are typically suspended in cirrus or cirrostratus clouds high (5–10 km, or 3–6 miles) in the upper troposphere, but in cold weather they can also float near the ground, in which case they are referred to as diamond dust. The particular shape and orientation of the crystals is responsible for the type of halo observed. Light is reflected and refracted by the ice crystals and may split up into colors because of dispersion. The crystals behave like prisms and mirrors, refracting and reflecting light between their faces, sending shafts of light in particular directions.

Atmospheric phenomena such as halos were used as part of weather lore as an empirical means of weather forecasting before meteorology was developed. They often do mean that rain is going to fall within the next 24 hours as the cirrostratus clouds that cause them can signify an approaching frontal system.

Other common optical phenomena involving water droplets rather than ice crystals include the glory and therainbow.
